WASHINGTON, D.C. — Hart announced today that the Alexandria Economic Development Partnership (AEDP) has selected the agency to lead a comprehensive modernization of its website, messaging, video storytelling and marketing collateral. The decision follows a national competitive process with nearly 200 proposals submitted.
The new engagement comes on the heels of a strong 2025, despite ongoing uncertainty in the national capital region. AEDP helped attract or retain more than 4,100 jobs and worked with the City of Alexandria to launch aa new, community-informed economic development framework, shaped by more than 840 touchpoints. Hart’s integrated strategy, stand-out creative, results-driven digital and PR capabilities, combined with deep economic development experience, positioned the agency as the clear partner to amplify the opportunity Alexandria offers for growing businesses.
“Alexandria has an abundance of world-class assets and is second to none in authentic placemaking. There’s an incredible opportunity to amplify their story—one that connects its historic character with its bold vision for an innovation-driven future. That’s where Hart comes in. We’ll craft a clear, compelling narrative that attracts investment and confidence,” said Amanda Marko, managing director of Hart’s D.C. office. “Our D.C. team was built for this kind of public-private partnership that delivers impact with intention.”
Under the agreement, Hart will deliver a refreshed messaging framework, a full website redesign with improved user experience and accessibility, signature short-form videos and modern collateral that strengthens AEDP’s brand and engagement with site selectors, commercial real estate brokers and corporate leaders nationwide.
Hart’s D.C. team includes nationally recognized experts in economic development storytelling. The agency has helped transform perception and drive investment for organizations such as the Detroit Regional Partnership, Regional Growth Partnership of Northwest Ohio, Prince George’s County, Destination Toledo and the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority.
